… A 17-year-old student was a passenger in his neighbor’s van. They were on their way to the mall when a car driven by another young man hit the van. The other driver fled the scene but was later identified and admitted to his role in the crash. The young student hurt his mid-back and neck. After a claim was made with the insurer of the other vehicle, it settled out of court.
