… A 54-year-old hospital worker was driving to work in the early morning hours when she entered an intersection with a flashing yellow light. Another car, governed by a flashing red light, drove through the intersecting road at a high rate of speed, crashing into the side of her vehicle. The hospital worker injured her neck and low back. Spinal x-rays confirmed that her neck muscles were in spasm. She also had a disc protruding in her back, causing pain that radiated to her knees. After a claim was made, the case settled with the other driver’s automobile insurance company.
