Legal secretary has legal claim for repetitive work injury

… A 32-year-old legal secretary developed carpal tunnel in both wrists and was unable to work.  After she had her second wrist surgery, her employer sent her to a hand surgeon who said she could return to work.  The secretary’s own doctor disagreed.  During the worker’s compensation proceedings, the parties agreed to settle the secretary’s claim in the form of a Compromise and Release.
